Welcome to Altovista. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to our website and the generative search intelligence reports (“Services”) we provide. By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Services
Altovista provides managed marketing intelligence services. Our reports are synthesized from publicly available data processed by third-party generative AI models and our proprietary methodologies. Reports are delivered via secure digital links or PDF documents. At present, our service does not require user login accounts; access is managed via the delivery of unique, secure report URLs.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
Our Services are offered on a subscription basis (Monthly or Yearly).
- Processing: All payments are processed through our secure partner, Stripe.
- Invoicing: For annual subscriptions, we offer manual invoicing upon request. Services will commence once payment is confirmed.
3. Plan Adjustments and Cancellations
- Changes: You may request to upgrade or change your service tier at any time. Changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing portal or by contacting us. Your access to the service will continue until the end of your current paid period, after which no further charges will apply.
4. Refund Policy
Due to the significant manual research, prompt engineering, and computational resources required to generate our intelligence reports, all payments are final. We do not offer full or partial refunds for monthly or yearly plans. We encourage you to review our sample reports or request a free audit before subscribing.
5. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
You agree to use our reports for internal business intelligence only. You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or sub-license our reports without an official Partner Agreement.
- Use our Services to develop a competing intelligence platform.
- Publicly disclose specific competitive data from our reports in a way that violates third-party terms of service.
6. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership
- Your Data: You own the specific, final reports generated for your brand.
- Our Tech: Altovista retains all rights and ownership of our platform, brand, proprietary prompt matrices, SVO scoring methodologies, and underlying technology.
- AI Disclaimer: Our Services rely on third-party AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Perplexity AI). We do not control these models and are not liable for sudden changes in their algorithms or availability.
7. Limitation of Liability
Altovista provides intelligence based on AI outputs at a specific point in time. We are not liable for business decisions made based on these reports, nor for the accuracy of third-party AI “hallucinations” or algorithmic shifts.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any legal actions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
